The sixth Lempo-festival had about 100 performers.
JPP, Kirviset & Karelian youth folk dancers from Hamina, Ellit & Eemelit folk dance group from Hollola, Clarinet trio Folklara, Äijäkanteleet and folk dance group Suiverot from Kouvola. Jussi Kaijankangas led a quadrille at the end of the main concert, accompanied by the wonderful folk fiddling band JPP. On Sunday the festival ended with the Rinki project (Minna Raskinen, Tapani Rinne, Markus Ketola, Pasi Granqvist).
Other performers were Pentti Rasinkangas (schools' tour), Ilo(iset) tytöt, Antti Paalanen, South Karelian kantele players and during Saturday local musicians YH10, Karela, Venla Onali, Hauru, Pirtupelimannit, Raakku, SävelSiskot and Anemone.
The total number of audiences and workshop participants during the Lempo weekend was 1360. There were 18 workshops, in dancing(flamenco, schottis, hambo, polka and waltz), playing (ukulele, 5-string kantele), singing (rhyming verse songs, runo singing), instrument making, handicrafts for children, folk music play school, and folk dances for children.
There were seven concerts, of which five were free.
